Adoption Process with J&B Doodles

Adopting your J&B Doodle puppy

We want to make adopting a puppy from J&B Doodles as easy as possible while ensuring that our puppies go to loving homes.  We take pride in helping you choose the pup that will be the best fit for you.  Here's how our adoption process works:

• Once you've done your research on breeders and have decided you would like a J&B Doodle puppy, please let us know you would like to reserve a spot on our waitlist or purchase an available puppy.  The two best ways to let us know you are interested in a puppy are:
  
  • completing a puppy application through good dog (link below)
  • filling out the contact us form (link below)
• We will contact you via your preferred method (text, phone, or email) so we can get to know a little about you and you can meet us. We encourage prospective clients to visit us in person or via facetime to see our facility and meet our dogs.
• We ask for a $350 deposit to join any of our waitlists. The deposit is non-refundable but is transferrable to a future litter if necessary. Deposits can be paid via PayPal, good dog, or by check. 
• Once your deposit is received we will send you a purchase agreement to sign and return to us.  
• Families on the waitlist will be updated at the time of breeding and again after whelping.
• Pictures and/or videos will be available at least weekly to show the puppies growth and development.  This also allows families to get to know the puppies and start thinking about which one might be the perfect fit for their family and lifestyle.
• Puppy selection will take place when the pups are 4-5 weeks of age. Families may choose in person, via facetime or from pictures/videos.  We will do our best to help match the puppy's personality with yours. 
• At about 8 weeks of age, your puppy will be ready to join you in their furever home! During those 8 weeks, we will help you prepare for life with your new puppy!!

Pricing and Payment Options

J&B Doodles puppy pricing (applicable sales tax (5.5%) will be added to the puppy price and collected with final payment)

Labrador Retrievers - AKC registered

Contact us for pricing and puppy availability.  Price varies per breeding.  Preference goes to hunt test and field trial homes.

Bernese Mountain Dogs - AKC registered

Males-$3000-$3500

Females-$3000-$5000

Payment options:

We accept deposits through good dog, PayPal, Venmo and Zelle.  Deposits may also be paid by check.  Payment for puppies is due in full 7 days prior to pick-up or shipping unless other arrangements are made ahead of time.  Final payments made through PayPal and Venmo are subject to 1.9% service charge.

J&B Doodles stands behind every adult we breed and puppy we sell.  We are very confident in our health testing and screening of the adults before they are bred so we offer a three year genetic health guarantee for our puppies.
